Prayer is our Strategy

The visa came three days before we were supposed to leave

I'd surrendered the trip completely. I was reading Ephesians 6 in prison language. And then the phone rang.

We hit 2,000 nights of prayer and almost didn't notice

We started the call during a pandemic. We never stopped. And somewhere along the way, the counting became the least interesting part.

I prayed for him for years. He called me out of the blue.

This is not a part of the strategy. It is the strategy.

After all of it; Malawi, Senegal, Peru, Cuba, Montgomery; it still comes down to this.

They didn't change the program. They just prayed first.

A church in Cuba was struggling. Then the leaders made one small shift before their outreach. Everything changed.

We started praying in December. So did the pastor in Peru.

We didn't know about each other. God did.
